You'll get loads of help here...and if you ask before you go to garages etc, it can save you a heap of trouble/money.

got an oil leak... and my temp keeps going up when i drive just a couple of miles... my heating dont work!! been told if i drive it i could do something to my head gasket??

Oh dear,

Best bet is to get it in to the garage asap then....at least with a punto problems are normally all connected.
My other halfs heating wouldn't work and the lights were coming on with the heat switch etc,
But it was just one burnt out connection box

But don't risk knackering your head up for the sake of driving it a few miles....cos that will be costly.

I shouldn't tempt fate...but no, both my mk1's have been great.
My other half (virmin, on here) he's been having a few problems with his new mk2 sporting...but his other mk2 has been ultra reliable too.

But I have been really lucky with my ELX (and my sporting) that neither have ever needed anything major.
I just regularly service them and had the timing belt changed on the elx recently...so all things that have been done is because I've wanted to, rather than needing too really.

On my old 60sx the rocker cover gasket went and the battery died once...not too bad really.

How long have you had your Punto?

hi and welcome hope you get your car sorted....it could be your rocker cover gasket as my sisters went and hers overheated and leaked oil so that could be one problem but take it to garage anyway
