Hello all. My name is Ryan and I am from Mississippi. I am currently involved with a team at my university that is building a hybrid vehicle. We have chosen to use the JTD 1.3L for our power plant. Do any of you know if there is an electric water pump available for this engine? Thanks for any help that you can provide.

They donated the vehicle we are using, a 2009 Saturn Vue, since I can't post links yet you will have to copy paste. msuecocar.com that is our website. A company called A123 donated the prismatic cell lithium ion batteries. On our website you can see the a video of the vehicle in its hybrid configuration. I still need to see if there is an electric water pump for the JTD 1.3L. We have no need for any of the accessories on the engine i.e. AC compressor, alternator, etc. so we are trying to get ride of the serpentine belt all together by removing the need for the water pump drive.
