Hi everyone!
Hope you're all well!
We just bought our second Multipla (after trying several different motors that just couldn't really compare) - a 2000 (W) JTD SX (105bhp) after finding a bargain on eBay - bit of a risk I know but at the right price as it needs a few bits sorting out.
1) There is a strange whirring noise which disappears when the clutch is pressed - the car runs well and idles well but I can't determine what this noise is.Have been told it could be something to do with the gearbox but the car had a recon unit fitted within the last 2 years.
2) Glow plug light flashes for about a minute after start up - book says it could be a problem with glow plug circuit but there are no starting problems....
3) Fuel guage not working properly as it only reads quarter full when it's full.
4) Heater fan/blower only working on full - may be a resistor problem?
Any advice would be gratefully received!
