Hello
I've just joined the site, because I've recently bought a 2004 Scudo 2.0 JTD Van for my plumbing business. It's a great van, quick with massive load-space considering its wheelbase.
My car is a Carlton MK2 2200 CDi 1986 (ye olde shape), I'm a Carlton fanatic (sad I know!), and have owned Carltons for 15 years.
If anyone can help, I need to know where the Scudo fuel filter is, and how to drain the condensate from it (apparently you need to do this every 6 months)? This is my 1st diesel, so its a bit new to me.
I also need to change the dash aircon switch. Which part of the dash do I remove to get to it?
In return, if anyone has any plumbing questions, I'm more than happy to answer them.
Thanks to site managers/administrators for a great site.
Ian

Hello and welcome (y)

I own a Doblo with the JTD engine albeit in the 1.9 format... I don't drain the condensate from my fuel filter every 6 months and have never been told to although I've heard about it. In fact I'm pretty sure I read there is a light on the dash which tells you when to drain it???

Please correct me if I'm wrong anyone but I think there will be a drain screw/nut on the bottom of the filter, loosen this let the condensate drain out and tighten it back up when pure diesel starts to flow.

You should find more information in the Scudo section at the bottom of the main page :)
