Well, I've been lurking for a few weeks now, primarily because my sister has a Stilo 1.6 Active, and she's expecting me to service it soon


....but also, I seem to have got Cinq Sporting fever.

Anyway, I'd just like to say what a really great place you (we now, I suppose) have here. It seems to be one of the best car forums around, with some very friendly and helpful people.

Only problem I did notice, was the forum threads are so huge, it would take forever to read them all. Ah well, that's what the search facility's for.

Anyway, I'm off to the Cinq heading to post my latest experience. See you there maybe !

Just thought I'd tell y'all why I'm looking for new wheels.

Last Nov, I was on my way to work in my beloved 92 J reg Peugeot 205 1.4 GR (85bhp btw) when an illegal immigrant coming from the opposite direction decided he wanted to turn right, and would do so without giving way to traffic on the main carriageway.

He hit my poor car very hard at the front. I was in total shock, as you can imagine. Both cars were written off (his was a Honda Accord) and I've been looking for something to replace the Pug for 3 months now :bang:

The offender was found guilty at Magistrates court last week, but has only been given a £250 fine and 6 points on a licence he does not have

My sister lends me her Stilo from Fri (when I go to the Auction - work permitting) to Sun morning to look for cars.
