Hi everyone!

Just signed up to the Fiat Forum, and I'm a newbie to the whole Fiat scene.

My name is Mitch Baldwin, I'm 23 and live in Derby. Picking up a 1.4 8v Active Sport in Red on Monday so thought I'd join the forum and get a few hints and tips.

The car is actually for my girlfriend, she's taking the step up to a bigger car from a Sport Ka. I currently drive a Fiesta ST which I have done a few things to (Coilovers, wheel spacers, induction kit, strut braces, full Milltek system, and a few other bits), fair to say after looking around the forum I've got a few ideas for the Grande Punto!

I will try and upload a few pictures as soon as I've given the GP a full detail (can't go uploading pictures of a dirty car lol), and I'm looking forward to getting to know some of you.

Cheers,
Mitch.

Hi Mitch, I also live in derby too so I may see you around. Few things I know look good is the de badged grill, lowering, changing the fiat logos to red ones if you have the blue ones, these are just cheap and easy ones. I'm sure plenty of people will give you lots of ideas!

Small world! Where abouts in Derby do you live? I'm in Chellaston.

Yes I've got a few ideas already, I love the gloss black grill look, I'm on the search for some 17" wheels of the higher spec punto's (will keep the 15's for winter), lowering springs, front splitter, maybe wheel spacers, induction kit, give it a good service, and definately a full detail (paint correction etc). Can't wait to get my hands on it!

I will have some 17'' sporting alloys up for sale. They need a refurb but I would be selling for cheap

That's the only one pic I have atm. There are kerb marks and the lacquer is coming off them. I will take more pics if you interested

Those are the ones I want!! Think they really suite the car, especially when its lowered. Send me a PM and we can talk money.

I'm always around Oakwood! My mate owns a Detailing Shop based on Danebridge Crescent, called Shop 'n' Shine. You probs won't notice me though as I'll be in my ST.

Il keep my eye out anyway, is it a blue one? Mines a blue gp sport, last three letters on my plate is buf haha! I've got gun metal grey alloys too.

Yes its a performance blue ST.
