Just want to introduce myself as a new member of the club.
I have a new Fiat Ducato Maxi 160 M-J XLWB XHR, one of the big boys! I bought it at the end of last year with the sole purpose of having it converted into a motorhome.
The conversion is just coming to an end and soon we will be collecting our new van. I have a letter all prepared to send to DVLA, along with with lots of photos, to change the V5C body type to "Motorhome". That way, you get cheaper insurance, cheaper MOTs (when the time comes) and can go at car speeds, rather than leave it as a commercial van with all the restrictions.
