I am a proud new owner of a 20V , I had a big smile on my face all the way home , I've had a 300zxTT and Skyline R34 (Gt) in the past and i have to say ..... It blows them away in all areas , Performance and fun factor !!! And i was even shocked to how cheap the insurance was.

I was hoping somebody could tell me if its safe to run at 1.2 boost for everyday use ? Its got Novitech Chip (have Fiat chip)
PRV boost controller set to 1.2 bar

THANKS

Oh and where can i get them side skirts with the slight twist , they finish off the car . CHEER GUYS

Hello. 1.2 bar is generally assumed to be OK. 1.3 is possible. 1.4 can be done, but then you start dealing with problems like the intercooler not being strong enough for it. I'd stick with 1.2 bar.
How much is your insurance, and who is it with?

Hi guys Thanks for the speedy replies,
Its with TESCO insurance £380 fully comp , I have full no claims and i am 32 years of age , I was expecting the 1k mark as everybody been telling me they are high but i cant fault that.

Hello and welcome. So the Coop blows the Skyline away? cool
I did have a race with my mate's claimed 280BHP saph cossie today, from a standing start he was a few lengths ahead owing to the 4wd but by 40 I was gaining, and by the ton I was eating his bumper. Nice :)

That's very good! I get quoted about £740, at 27 with 5yrs NCB. :( That's fully comp, with protected no clainms though. Even third-party, fire and theft only brings it down to £450 though.

Hi, Not even sure what the excess was but i am sure i would have said the Maximum (It was 2 years ago for the skyline) , I phones Tesco from the guys house who i bought from and just exchanged the policy but i asked how much it would be for a year and was told £380 but without no claim protection and breakdown NOT BAD AT ALL.
Should get the paper work 2moro from tesco i'll have a look at the excess and let you know.

I only had the car one day and i've already had to spent £70, Woke up this morning and went out to have a look at the car for the first time in day light to find that i had a screw in the brand new rear tyre , Must have picked it up on way home LUCKY ! cause i did give the car a little test . Took it to the garage down the road to have a new one put on thinking i'd have to order one but he had loads there that size as he said its the same size at a mondeo!! , He did mention that i could repair it as it was the center but i dont think its worth the risk of a few quid.

Cheers Guys
