Technical Hello everybody - rear side very bumpy?

Hello everybody!

This is my first post here. Great forum!!! I recently bought 2002 1.9 jtd 115 Multipla. Car is in very good condition, engine also! It has 180000 km! I love it! It is great!!! Excellent car!!! I already found on this forum some great answers that solved my problems (gear problem for example). My problem is next:

I think that rear side od car is bumpy. Like something kicks hard when car passes over some hole or something. I don't know is because of rear shock absorbers? I had the excatly the same problem with my Fiat cinquecento. It is annoying sound and it is very loud kick.

Did anybody had any similar experince that can share with me. I was at mechanic for big service for engine (inner and outer distribution, oil and so on...) and he took multipla for a drive (he likes it very much) and he said that everything is in great condition, no problems!

I understand that it is not 50 000 Euro car i think that something is not right at rear side od the car!

Hi,

It sounds to me like you have one of the subframe bushes on the rear subframe that have perished. Quite common and not a part that fiat sell seperately. The good news is that you can replace it (with a little modification to the subframe/bush) with a Fiat Brava bush. First Line parts part number is Fsm 2026. I have done both mine like this and its fixed it.
