hi
just wondering, how do you colour the heater dials?ive seen that wimmys are blue.
thanks in advance

You make your own. You use a special type of acetate that can be printed on by an ink jet printer. Make two copies, one back to front and then sandwich them together and replace the old dials.

I think there may be a guide somewhere on the site. If not, Wimmy will let you know soon, I'm sure.

There is no guide.

It is basically what Roberto said but you only need to print it once. You then place a blank piece over the front to protect the colour from water.

You also need to replace the bulbs for blue leds if you are going for the colour blue as it will shine greenish blue with normal bulbs.

Here is a pic of when I first did it ages ago.

The Leds I used I had to cut the bulb holder out and glued these into place as the led bulbs are too big.

If you do get stuck on the led bit I can always help you out like I did Wimmy :)

I could've sworn Wimmy said he printed two copies with one back to front, but hey, whatever works :) :)

@Rob

He might have. I only gave him my template on computer.

He then messed about with it and stuff. Would have been difficult to get them to line up though as they stick together very easy.

@Anon
You will find non for sale. I was the first then I gave Wimmy a template. As far as I am aware we are the only two to have them but other people may have done it by now. I know Dan (skate2create) was on about it.

I personally have no overhead transparency paper, that was the reason I gave it Wimmy via template over an email. He may have bought a full pack of the stuff so may be better asking him
