hi folks,
need a bit of help please, I bought a multipla, 4 weeks ago with the knowledge that the blower had stopped. figured it was not a bug deal.... very green I know...
so here what I have got. the control panel, when it decides to work brings the air con and internal circulation lights on and if you try to turn them off they just dim, other than that the panel does nothing, I have run power straight to the fan and it works I have a voltage reading on leg from resistor but unfortunately nothing to check the current. the volts don't change when turning the dials, I have removed the panel and Placed it in a friends car and it works fine, I have checked all the connections on the resistor and all clean no melting.
I have climate control on this 115 jtd elx derv.... really stumped and going on a road trip with the kids in less than a week so I really need to fix... Any help would be gratefully received.
thanks

cheers PEAT
I have read through these posts over and over, I tried all bar cutting and crimping and it looks like I have no other choice now as I have just swapped out my resistor with a friend and still now joy.
you are a star though thanks for the input !!

sorry just read over that and if taken in a sarcastic tone would read pretty nastily, just wanted to say.. it is in no means sarcastic i am really grateful you posted a reply...
thanks again..

have you checked a 4-way contact block under the passenger side dash/footwell. mine was corroded and sticky. fine now, but it stopped the heating array dead in its tracks. good luck.
