Hi all,

Got a problem with heater that it's not working and in this weather that's not a good thing, the car is a marea weekend 2.0 20v with a/c. Am thinking problem might be motor but any help would be usefull.

Thanks all.

hi, could the speed governor Resistor pack maybe be burnt out, right where the connectors fit to the casing as is a common fault.(y)

No matter where I put dial it just doesn't want to know. Still get a little warm air though when engine is warm. also doesn't help when I haven't got a clue where anything is. Please help........

:cool:Hiya.

I just had exactly the same fault like you describe.. a little heat still there BUT no blower.. re miff121's message - he's spot on.

hi, could the speed governor Resistor pack maybe be burnt out, right where the connectors fit to the casing as is a common fault.

The part from fiat is approx £180 so get to the breakers and you'll find one no problem for a fiver. In the passenger footwell you'll see the fan motor casing. Behind this there is a fag packet sized object with 2 connections on 1 side and aluminium cooling fins on the other side. 2 screws hold this up in the footwell. Remove these and the offending item will fall down into the footwell or into your pocket ;) It may be better to even just cut the wires instead of removing the connections as one of yours may be partly melted and you might want to replace it..

Hope this helps you - ALL I CAN SAY IS WHAT A RELIEF TO HAVE HEATERS AGAIN!

Regards
