Heater Matrix Anyone?

As per my recent post my fans were blowing steam and the engine was losing water rapidly.

After stripping most of the dash off i have found that it is definatly the Heater Matrix, its peeing out into both foot wells.
I have managed to get a good look at it, and found a missing screw (God knows).
But after replacing all i found was a slight stem in the flow, so basically i can now get to work providing i have a bottle with me.

Looking at the matrix, the pipes and flange/gasket seem to be in good condition, so i am now assuming that the Heater Matrix is faulty.

Does anybody know of one going?

Cheers

I'm afraid i dont know of any going, but what i can advise is that its a PITA of a job to replace!

best thing to do is to get a new one from either a local motor factors or even Fiat and get a seal kit too!

when i did mine i took the caprets out too and as much of the sound deadening as possible before removing the matrix to avoid everything getting much wetter

I apologize for late answer!

When engine is worm, coolant temperature is about 80-90 Celsius. In those conditions, sealant, on the side flange, behaving differently and could seep coolant.

Well, You can see my try, bravo 1.8GT continent version, of heater change at:
