Hi All,

Have a fiat 500 2012 lounge and the heater/aircon control panel randomly stopped working last night, no blower function or hot/cold, aircon button doesn't light and no backlights either! Heavy thunderstorms here last night and car had recently undergone a full major service so kinda linking it all together, it's never dull with a fiat 500!!!!

Replaced fuse and no different, also swapped relay and again same outcome!

I've seen and read on line the blower motor could be the culprit or a loose connection between this and the wiring loom? It's just not clear on google/web which side this is on a UK model and didn't want to start stripping the dash to locate it. Some posts stem its the passenger side footwell on a uk model?

Just wondered if anyone else had experienced the same issue at all. All other electrics in the vehicle seem fine.

Thanks, hopefully someone on here knows or has some ideas possibly, cheers!

Yes I believe the blower motors is up under the Passenger side of the dash behind the glove box. Sorry you have not had any sort of answer sooner.

Look at the blower motor resistor and wiring, if over heated the wiring can melt. in that case the fuse might have blown again.

While you are at it, take out/locate the pollen filter, if not replaced in the last 12 months - 2 years then it will clog up completely and can be the cause of blower motor/electrical failures in the heating/ventilation system.
