Can anybody help,

The heater in my 1.2 Bravo does not appear to be working. When hot air is selected it only blows out cold air.

Any help would be much appreciated.

This sounds like the thermostat or an air-lock.How is the gauge registering? In any event make sure that you have no airlock. But i would suggest it is more than likely the thermostat stuck open

Thanks for the Tip the engine temp gauge appears to be working correctly (does this rule out the thermostat). I will check for an airlock, where is the bleed valve for this....

it sounds like the thermostat is ok, the bleed screw is on the heater hose near the bulkhead

mine did that check for leaks in the hose goin to the back of the engine bay i replaced mine and it sorted out coz i had that problem

Could be the heater controls. When I go over and bump in my car hot air turns to cold air. I then give the dashboard a smack and it hot air again. Fiat electrics, don't you just love them.

try bleeding the system first, also check the coolant levels

there are a selection of bleed screws in the engine bay, s on the feed and return hoses through the bulk head and one on the rad, aswell as the obvious coolant cap
