S Sven Guest Dec 11, 2004 #2 Don't know your exact problem, but it could be the switch, or some of the heating ”wires” stop to work (heat). They over heat and burn in some place on the window, and that can be fixed with Loctite circuit+ repair kit for rear windscreen defogger.

O Oxford987 Guest Dec 11, 2004 #3 Just a thought, but have you cleaned the contacts between the hatch and the sill? I had rear wiper probs and this solved it.
