General Heated Front screens

Both my Uno`s need screens (ones cracked, ones scratched), I`m looking into getting some heated Uno screens made, possibly with fade top tint.

Obviously they`d be custom made & would be cheaper if a batch was ordered (minimums usually about 20).

They would also have to be wired in with suitable relays & switches.

Would anyone else be interested? If so, let me know.

Do you have any idea of cost?, my screen gets chipped alot where i live so no point in buying an expensive one to just get chipped and cracked.

i thought ford owned all the rights to heated front screens and that was why no one else fitted them?

I`d expect them to be approx £200 each & you`d need another £20-30 for the witing/relays & switch to fit it.

I`ve had them in my last couple of Jags & it is handy, it gets rid of condensation or ice quickly without having to wait for the car to heat up which does tend to take a while in little Fiats (I`m sure I`m not the only one whose had ice on the inside of the screen in the last few months!), & makes the wipers more effective, especially in the cold.
