Headunit problems

Installed an MP3 Blaupunkt head unit the other day just realised that when i switch of the ignition, the head unit looses its last status. I loose the clock status, and the last track i was playing.

The only wires I didn't plug in the back of the unit, was the cd changer plug.

Would appreciate any advice?

Just swap the red and yellow wires around on the radio harness, That`ll sort it mate

Do i need a special tool to loosen the metal pins from the plastic plug?

Just cut the wires BEFORE they go into the plug and tape them back up

what they said ^^^
its a nightmare to get the connectors out of the plug. just snip the 2 wires and reconnect the opposite way round
