Has anybody had problems with there headlights coming on with the ignition, I have the eleganza model and don't think it has the auto lights as cant see sensor on windscreen but the headlights come on once started with switch position off and as soon as you turn side lights on main goes off, scratching my head as to what it could be before I book into auto electrician

There is an option in Lexia to turn on or off day running lights ( like volvo), maybe you have this enabled?

Do I have to go into settings on display as it has the auto button at the end of the indicator stalk but all that seems to do it switch the voice command on and just wondering if indicator stalk could be faulty as headlights come on when indicating right but as soon as you put side lights on headlights stay off, garage where I got car from is trying to find another indicator stalk to try and cure this problem as there are several variations of the stalk depending on spec of car and fiat seem to think that my spec of Ulysses that it will cost about £500 which nearly a quarter of the price I paid for it, don't understand why it has the auto lights button yet doesn't have the sensor on the screen

No you need to plug it into a laptop using the lexia software to check if it s enabled or not, this is what I would check before you do anything else.

Thanks but its strange how when I picked it up lights were fine and now they come on once started

I think you can activate/deactivate the auto headlights by turning the ignition key to 'Position A' and holding the button on the end of the lighting stalk for 2 seconds, or more. The lights need to be off when carrying out this procedure.
