Technical headlights lhd to rhd

the 'fingers' on both my headlights have broken (monkey at the MOT station) anyone know if i change the glass from my old lights to new ones that are lhd,is the inards the same. will it pass an MOT with the old glass?if anyone needs to know run hot water over the join with the plastic housing to soften the mastic/glue.

I would have thought the reflector shaped the beam too.

In an emergency, stickers on the front to blank out the kick up on the beam will pass an MOT.

Far from ideal long term though.

just to let you all know, you can change the lens from lhd to rhd. i used the old mastic and went around the joint with uhu clear glue and let it set.
