Technical Headlight replacement

Somebody smashed headlight on my lovely Punto and I need to replace it, but would prefer to buy it on my own and take it to the garage for changing. Any idea how they get part number as ePer is not something I used before and I’m rather useless with car parts!

I wld recommend shld get a 2nd handone from a car breaker or a scrap yard cld save you a fair bit of $ £ €. No idea of the part no. Which model or batch/year is your gp ? Maybe someone else here might know the part no. Or compatibility between the diff years of gp makes.

It’s 2009 and I have already purchased one replacement to be told by my garage that it doesn’t fit, but they weren’t helpful enough to tell me what will fit. Hence I would like to get part number to not buy another one which won’t fit!

Where did you get the first one? Suggest it will probably be the difference between a headlight with, or without, electrical adjustment. Send the frist one back and get a refund.

What year? Drivers or passenger side? Electric adjustment or not?

51718160 - HEADLAMP Drivers side...none electric or as suggested go to scrappy online and put in reg and they will supply the correct one.

Hi, it’s 2009 1.4 petrol, 5 door, I think it’s dynamic version.

It’s drivers side, I don’t think there is any electric adjustment.
I returned first one and it was from scrap, but when it arrived it is for 2008 and didn’t fit mine.
