General headlight fuse and relay

Swap the relay with another in the relay box of the same size and type (check markings) and try it. The relay may be engaging but not releasing if its worn out. Use another light relay rather than anything vital cause you'll need the ignition on but not started to check it.

just changed the relay over used a red one, same pins, might get a new one, would halfords sell them?.

dont know now what to check the switch on the stork works (switch wise) for my dash lights and full beam so i know its switching ok, but the lights seems to have a constant feed.

Any more ideas would be a great great help(y)

Halfords should sell them but be sure to take the old one with you to get correct size in amps. A727 relays (guessing its one of those) look and act the same but do come in different amp ratings. As for other checks, have a look at the light cluster for decay or corrosion from water leaks. Negative feedback, although rare will cause a constant light. So with the bulb out, check both sides of the feed with a meter to earth to see if the negative is live on the bulb which will be bypassing the switch.
