Is there any special treatment required when removing the connector to the headlight bulbs? I had a quick pull but it seemed a bit stuck and I didn't want to force it.

Halfords had buy one get one free on their 'super brilliance' bulbs so I thought I'd give them a try since I'm tired of 'using The Force' when driving in the dark. They can't be worse than the standard bulbs :p

Thanks

have you removed the little piece of bent wire that holds the bulb in place?

There are two bits that you squeeze together to unhook the bulb.

Yeah, I'm ok with that bit. The actual electrical cable stops it coming out though, and it's this plastic connector that seems to be stuck.
I can pull it a lot harder than I have done already but I want to make sure I'm not going to break it. I'll have another go tomorrow.

just dont forget not to touch the glass of the new bulbs, they`ll blow easyier

i find it easier to pull the connector off before removing the cage, gives you something to lever against. don't be afraid of wiggling it free either :)

I'm Boo, are you?
