Hi
I have a problem with my Ducato 2.3 multijet 130. It is 2007. The problem is the O/S side light and flasher do not work. I replaced bulbs etc at first but still no luck. Then I noticed that full beam bulb comes on when dip lights selected. After headlamp I thought it was a wiring fault in headlamp so I bought a new and fitted. However the problem still excists. Has anyone came across this before and any ideas on how fix ? I am thinking it is an earthing fault but not sure.

Thanks
Tony

Daft as it sounds but my first point of call will be rear light, connector block to bulb holder, and bulb holder to bulbs
Check for corrosion

Earth connector in block corrodes and burns out opening the contact,

Open block connector and clean up terminals
Close them back together

If not then check wiring to the front headlamp connectors again for corrosion

On rear lamps worth checking both sides

I had full disco lights when mine went

Main beam, indicators all doing there own thing
That was rear lamp

Thanks rolopolo. I will check that tomorrow. Been out all night checking front wiring but found no corrosion. So before I call an auto spark I will check rear lights.

hi . most prob's nominally is to do with the x250 is water ingress one way or another & if you haven't got proper drain off pipes in the scuttle water just drips on allsorts of stuff & in through the front is there anyway you can test the unit on the other side to see if it works o.k . worth a try if that is possible could be wrong it don't know .
