General Headlamp problem.

Firstly apologies for te masses of questions. Try to give my van a bit of tlc whilst I'm off.

Problem with the headlamp is that it's really loose. The whole unit I mean has fell so that it's pointing slightly upwards. I've adjusted it using the adjusters lol, but still the whole unit is obviously slack. How do I tighten it up?

is it your headlamp that is loose when you put hand on glass and move around,maybe it got a bang and clips for securing it are broken,we use mecanno type brackets with screws to make it stable again ,cheaper than a new unit.
if its the inside of reflector that is moving around sounds like it might have got some rough treatment while changing bulb,if its broken inside it will be a new headlight as every bump you hit will move beam direction around, very common on vw polos
