FIAT DUCATO dash error message
How many of you had the error
“HDC not available” showing on your dash when trying to engage the Hill Descent Assist switch on the Fiat I have used an OBD-II scanner and the Trouble Code Description is P0857 for the Hill Descent Assist
The web says it maybe several different modules failing or getting water in them I don’t believe it is from water washing but would like to know how people may have fixed it & approx cost I have checked the brake switch & it functions correctly trying to locate where the other modules are any suggestions thanks
P.S. my issue is it won't engage from stationery I have a steep driveway and the MH rolls back not staying stationary as shown in numerous videos so I have to do the incorrect procedure using 2 feet on the pedals one one brake one on accelerator which is not recommended for the Fiat transmission
