Technical Hard reset factory radio fiat 500x

Good morning. After trying to install an aftermarket stereo and have some problems, I took the car to a stereo shop and they have installed the Factory Radio back. I am now having the "Sound System Unavailable" message.
The stereo works, but I cannot control the volume (its really loud) and also the back right speaker only works for the phone calls, not for music.

Does anyone knows how to do a HARD RESET on the radio? I've took the car to the Fiat Dealership here in Houston and they want to charge me Usd 500.00 only to tell me whats going on.

I want to try a Hard reset but I dont know how to do it.

The original poster needs to tell us what unit they have fitted. Then depending on unit the Engineering Mode access will be relevant and from there reset options etc. may come into play.

Geolith, I have done the reset. The radio now works fine, but I am still receiving the "Sound System Unavailable" message.

Unfortunately, when you turn off the car for a bit, when u turn it on again, the same problem happens...Is there any way to maintain the factory reset? It seems that the Car system has a "memory" that retains all the data, and when you turn off and on, it comes back to the last "saved" config.
Anyone knows what to do?
