Sorry but I feel the need to whinge  I phoned up my lovely (sic) insurance company today to declare my 'optional extra' front bumper, which is being fitted next week. Basically an upgrade from sx to elx bumper, nothing fancy, just some foglights. However I wasn't allowed to declare it as an optional extra bumper but apparently I now have rally spotlights! I am now tempted to fit some rather massive rally spots just because it won't cost me any more to do so.

The reason being the foglights will make the car more attractive to thieves, but they kindly ignore the fact that I live somewhere with inclement weather and in actual fact will have better vision while driving in fog, making me less likely to have an accident. They didn't think that one through very carefully

Just like you could fit uprated brakes and get charged more...

Wonder if I stuck a huge sticker in each window saying, "If you try to steal this car it will explode and kill you", that will reduce the chance of being stolen and reduce my premium?

Just thought.. Now they are oficially spot lights and not fog lights you can drive around at day with them on (y)

Nah I like the idea of massive ones right across the top of the bumper better, like they have on lorries when it look like dawn is coming when they flash them, because I can have those now, I'm insured for them :D

Bet Paul would love that

Is saying 'inclement weather' a good or bad thing Paul, I'm confused!

Edit - here we go, this is what I want ;)

It's just a posh word for bad weather, thought you were making a joke of inclement being a bit like incline :) Had you not said I would never have known :p

As for how to see over them, simple, the drivers seat moves up and down, just set it to high and problem solved. Must ask the lad if I can borrow them, he is a very good friend :chin:
