I have a blue LED kit, very bright, brighter than any neon tube. but I haven't attempted to fit it yet as I'm worried I will bodge it up and I'm not paying someone £100 to do it for me either
thats where mine came from. cheap as chips
£65 for 4 tubes, 7 modes, speed control and a led display to show whats going on under the car god, I am such a barry
I think you need side skirts really mate! sorry to burst that bubble, although you my be able to hide them somewhere!!! you only want to see the glow not the tube!!!
@ Dan... i really need to start using E-Bay!lol...
Mine is neither lowered or have side skirts and admittedly you can see them if you bend down or are stood some distance away but you can combat that by mounting them further in from the sill.
its a complete nitemare hiding the front n bak tubes, as u CAN see them - no matter how hard u try, u need side skirts otherwise u can see the side tubes too and it trust me it looks tacky!
Dya know, I'm sooo tempted to get some. I'd go for red I think, against my broom Yellow.
I'd probably never use them around town where I live, but it would be worth it just for that first occasion on the motorway when there's a couple of cars of us off somewhere one night, and my unsuspecting mates havn't realised yet I'd had them fitted..
They'd laugh soo hard they'd wet themselves!!but then again, are you really meant to take anyone seriously when they're driving something coloured tweetie bird yellow!!??
Yeah they are a bit flashy (excuse the pun but thats the great thing about this mod - you can turn on and off this mod as your mood takes you!
An even better form of this mod I have seen (and would undoubtedly have to get) is LED ground kit that can glow 7 different colours! So depending on what mood you are in one second your car could be glowing a cool white an when a fool in a nova drives past - flick it to red and cruise past him!
Or to jus blend in switch it off all together and noone is any wiser!
Jus examined the underneath of my bravo and I recon it would be fine - on the sides there is a 1.5cm lip at the bottom that runs length of sides so could hide kit behind that so wouldn't see LEDs themselves!
Rear bumper there is plenty room under bumper before reach metal work to hide LEDs. Front bumper could easily hide a them but might be able to see them through grill in which case jus put black electric tape on the upper side and done!
