Hi to everybody I've just found this amazing site, also I'm the proud owner of a 1993 Fiat Uno Mille, I got the car as a birthday gift from my Dad and I still keep the car. the car has 288.200 Kms on the odometer and it is just out from the shop were the engine an suspension an brakes were all rebuilt with new parts, some imported directly from Italy, Argentina and Brazil.
The car is really great, I can't complain about it, Ok maybe I can complain about the rust on the metal parts, that's going to be my next move... to change all the rusted parts and get a new paint job.

Ok that's all for now,

Season`s Greetings to you all!

Welcome to the forum (y) dont forget to pop into the Uno section to say Hi to the owner down there and put some pics up of your car inthere as well (y)

Hi there. Is there much of a fiat scene over there?

Fiat was one of the first companies wich was dedicated to assemble cars her in Colombia, back in the early 70's the cars were the well known "Topolino" and later the started to assemble the 127 "Polski" and at the beginning of the 80's the started to produce the 147, the 131 Mirafiori and 131 Panorama (SW). by that time the company (CCA) was bought by the japanese and started to make Mazdas.
In the early 90's Fiat made it's come back importing few units such as the Tipo from Italy ( my sister owns one), the Tempra, and of course the Unos from Ecuador and Venezuela. Now the Fiats are back again, and I'm looking forward to buy a new one a Palio.
