Hello Fiat peoples!
This is my first post, i have been on here plenty of times for help with the motor though!
Ive had this car since 5k Miles and its now done 75k.... i have not spent a penny on it though since buying it and because of this mistake i have literally just got it back from the garage with the following new parts.
Gearbox
Alternator
Clutch
Starter Motor
Timing Belt
This was a proper expensive bill (probably werent worth it)
However i have some random things wring with the car that are just plain annoying that im hoping somebody here can help with cause my local fiat garage seems to be clueless regarding the issue or give me some really expensive solution!!
Issue 1:
The stereo buttons on the steering wheel just dont work properly, for example if i press turn the volume up it goes down or if i change track it changes the input instead.... frustrating.
Issue 2:
The vent along the dash (directly underneath the bottom of the windscreen) has started coming away from the drivers side and rattles, for the life of me i cannot clip it back in and it looks like its raised higher on the side its coming off. Fiat said they would need to remove parts of the dashboard!!
Issue 3:
The pipe coming from the air filter (think its a muffler or something) has a rubber washer that attached it to part of the engine to stop it moving, this has melted off and its rattling!!! i have cable tied it down which is fine but wondering where or if there is a better solution
