General Grande Panda La Prima - ordered!

Hi all,
Just ordered a red Grande Panda, woo hoo!
Went to ask when they were expected because I wanted to test drive it. Turned out they'd just got some Icons in for their rental side, so they allowed me to drive it.

Lovely and smooth, quick acceleration, loads gadgets and comfortable seats, plus lots of pocket space.

Traded in my Hybrid Sport and got a fair price, so said yes. Expected by end of the month. Can' wait!!!!

Found out today, I won't be getting it for another 3 months
Not quite sure why, their car hire division just received 30 (although not La Primas).
Anyone aware of delays?

I had to wait 3 months for my X because I ordered the optional (real) leather seats and the full-sized spare wheel.

I'm not sure which one was the problem.. I thought the leather (need a cow etc.) but the salesman said it was the spare wheel. The car had a space-saver option and a full-sized spare option.. which I think they ran out of. In the end it came with 5 matching (19") alloys, which you could call a result.

Anyway, random or unusual options plus an issue in their supply chain is the most likely reason.

Latest news is that it's left the factory and is en route to UK.
Expected now in 3-4 weeks.
It'll be the longest month ever, especially in this heat!
