Ok, this is pretty simple....... whilst at a garage in Inverness the other day I got to chatting to a couple of the mechanics. We were talking about remaps/tuning modules etc etc and they made an offer....... if you're local-ish to Inverness and have a 1.4 T-Jet (presumably Bravo or GP) they have a digital tuning module they'd like to try on your car for a week or two.
Now it would be free to try out (and if you were smitten) you'd probably get it at a fair price. They want to find out what it'll do on a car and don't have access to a T-jet hence the offer.

Details would need to be worked out, PM me for details (y)

I'm interested, but I'm in Stirling...what do they want to do? What do they expect it to do? What will the fair price be? How often do they want to see the car whilst it is being tested? It's about a 4 hour trip each way but the drive would be good...

Also, will it be removable? Car is going in for a service next Monday...

Not sure about tuning stuff, I take it you inform the insurance to keep everything above board?

Actually reading that back, they all sound stupid questions! I'm interested...if I'm any use...just need to work out how to get there...

you can add a remap module like i have dick
i gain roughly 20% power increase all for some small change and its completely removable
and yup tell the insurance if you want to be all good and above board
as for where to get one ive already hooked martyn up with the company and discounts for buying such toy :)

TMC motorsport in ireland £115 it cost for mine that included my next day delivery and a 30 day trial gaurantee and a years warranty just speak to daron from the website but i dont know which car you have so price could be different of course

Was at the Fiat garage in Inverness yesterday (unexpectedly) but the mechanic who I needed to speak to about the module is away.
Methinks Stirling might be a smidgen too far for him to consider.
I'll not be back in Inverness for a fortnight or so, but will check in with him then...... when I will be going back to the Fiat dealer (again).
