im not making the move just yet, im waiting to see what the next tweak facebook have in store is like

this latest FB update is only putting a few features in place before the big change, which, according to a few pals who have seen the beta of it and know their stuff, is very, very cool indeed.

Dunno if I'm doing it wrong, but see trying to find people on there. I mean Rich, I got your invite, clicked the link and it took me to the main stream rather than your profile. I click your link, the same.

It is nice and simple and has some nifty features but jeez trying to find people on there is a bit of an iffy experience.

Scratch that, have kind of figured it out. Was just the way the search windows were popping up with the results ie they weren't showing all of the search results for a given name and I couldn't see how to set it right. Seems to work now though - definitely still being tweaked by Google I'm guessing

Aye Martyn said he had the same or similar trouble. I've only copied the link on the add friend page so no sure what the crack is there. As friends fill up, I think it could be good since it integrates well with all the other google products.

I've quite liked the changes so far on fb an it Mark's friends are in the know, I look forward to the potential development that is due to break cover.

So far I've managed to avoid all the social networking doo-hickeys, though it would be easier to find out what my son's two brain cells were thinking if I did sign up lol ;)

My Mum's even created a Facebook account and she's virtually a technophobe  It's good for keeping in contact with friends and family beyond just emailing or that archaic medium of print on paper :D

I have found on FB, if you just make a list with all your contacts and then get an app on Chrome to hide the idiotic scrolling update list on the top right, it looks almost like it did before. Just annoying that the changes have spread to the iPhone app as well :/

i have a new beta of the facebook "timeline", not sure how it will directly effect the main homepage where you see everyones posts since this is only a developers edition, but it's pretty cool :)
