Technical Good news for future reference

Have been trawling the Internet for a tailgate lock for the Croma and have come across at least two companies selling aftermarket DPF units for under £300 (and yes it is the same as the Vectra).

Big difference to the £1500 FIAT RRP.

Excellent. It seems that car companies got used to catalytic converters, where they can charge a fortune as it contains precious metals. I've never understood why the same would apply to a filter - they've just been trying it on.

Clearly someone's seen the gap in this total rip-off market.
