Good garage in York

My mk1 Punto is *****ng like a race horse. Anyone know of an honest and reliably priced garage in York?
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Sorry - none that I know of. But - it's only 20.3 miles to Thirsk, 35 minutes according to Google maps - and they give you a free courtesy car (Panda/500)! IMHO it would take 35 minutes to get from one side of York to the other on a good day! Seriously, if you want the job done properly and right first time, they are worth the trip.
