General Goldentyre

Is anyone running on "Goldentyre" (whitewall) 125/12 tyres?

What are they like?

In reality, we can't go fast enough to have adhesion problems, but I thought that I'd check before purchase...

You can go fast enough to get to 30mph. If a kid runs out in front of you I bet you will be wishing you hadn't fitted some dodgy cheap tyres.

It's not about adhesion when you're driving fast. It's about stopping and being in control in an emergency.

they get good reviews for their motorcross tyres, could try a 2cv forum for car tyres reviews seems goldentyre make a tyre for them

I think that they're Italian. Lots are sold in Italy for 500s.

Not buying them because they're cheap, I want them because they're pretty.


Have to be better than the 5 completely different ones (of unknown age) that I have at present.
