Does anyone have any idea how I can put the pressure on the dealer to sort me out a second key for my GPS?
I bought the car 2 weeks ago and was told the 2nd key is still with the previous owner (my car's had only 1 owner before me) who was on holiday (they'd spoken to his mum) and as soon as he was back, they'd get him to drop the key in. Fair enough, I thought, my dad had this with his last car.
2 weeks and 4 phone calls by me to the dealer and still no key. Each time I'm getting "we need to chase that up, the last owner does definately have the key". Naturally, I'm getting peed off now, not simply the inconvenience of one key but the safety issue, what's to stop this guy coming along and unlocking my car if he was so inclined (and I'm sure my insurance wouldn't cover that) and if my key packs in, I'm screwed.
Any ideas really welcome!
Cheers, Helen
P.S - I bought from a Fiat dealer and it ain't ever going back there!!!
