I've just restored some really cool oz-sparco alloys; however they are for vauxhall (4x100) ET 49 with a 56.1mm centre bore...the pcd is easy to solve by using wobbly bolts, the ET easy as well by buying some spacers...however I don't know what to do with the centre bore as it is smaller than the one for Fiat and all the 10mm spacers I can get are hubcentric with a bigger centre bore...any ideas??? thanks!

two options.
1. get the wheels machined out
2. get some hubcentrics and have the shoulders machined down

2nd sounds easier, and its a job that ANYONE with a small lathe can do, whereas you would be paying for 4 hours+? at a machine shop @£20-£30/hour for option 1, due to the size of the lathe needed.

that's absolutely right mate, I'll go for the second one, now let's see if I can find someone to machine the spacers here in Notts, thanks!

sorry about asking this but does anyone know where can I machine them? (Nottingham or "near") I don't even know what shall I write in google in order to try to find out...

You could try searching for an engineering shop in Nottingham, they should have a lathe.

Good luck with fitting the alloys :D, got a pic? (y)

if you get really stuck, you could buy the hubcentrics, send em up here and my cousin (T.E.D. Jordan) will do em for ya. Or i could on our own lathe, but its kinda more his line of work than mine.

what wheels you got on your punto mate ?

Strosek 5-spoke deep dish alloys in 16"x7 in vw fitment
I cant find out much about them, but they are quite rare - only a handful of sets in the country. see my thread in members motors :)

ok cheers mate
