Technical Gearstick

Right..next question....hahahahahh...i bought a new gearknob...but the other one wont come off....do they screw on or do they have some form of grub screw? It wont budge and i cant understand why?..thx people.

if its the same as the tempra and i thin k it is pull very hard its a very tight fit
