I have a 2001 Bravo 80sx16v Formula, Last year(9000 Miles) a star drive in the diff collapsed causing total gearbox destruction. Fiat replaced Box & Diff under warranty.this week(32000 Miles) car is back in Fiat Dealers with another Gearbox problem, sounds like the same thing. Has anyone else had problems with self destructing gearbox, or am i the lucky one.

I've heard a lot of adverse problems regarding Fiat Gearboxes and suffered two failures myself in early 1.4 engines.

If it's under warranty you're OK, so it may be worth extending it............just on the off chance.
