Hi all forgot to mention when new clutch was fitted it has a new cable should the clutch peddle be so high the only reason a had the clutch changed was it judderd in 1st gear the old clutch looks ok the two small springs on the plate move but the bigger ones dont the mechanic said the ald one looked fine i just cant drive it sometimes it goes up the gears but dont like going down the gears hope someone can advise whether the box is shot regards colin

Was the gear change ok before the clutch change? Yes, the pedal would be higher after the change, though the "bite point" would (or should) be lower.

yes gears where all good ive been told its the gear selector cable the ball joint rubber joint has has broke, any idear where to get one from .

fiat are robbin gits they said they will give me a 15% discount i nearly choked £196 20p whent on ebay £75 so all should be good.
