gearbox concerns

was driving home tonight and all of a sudden found it really hard to get into 4th then 5th gear... i then managed to get it in and messed about changing from 4th to 5th and it started to get easier but remained a bit stiff in those gears and sometimes would be really difficult to get out of 4th... i recently changed the gear knob and thought maybe some grit may have got in...

any advice or help is welcome

it may be your box mate if its getting stuck in gears,does it whine at all?.my rs got stuck in 1st,could not get it out but luckily i had just pulled up outside my house.

there's no whining at all, and it just started sticking a bit in 4th for no reason... removed the gater and cleaned it all out and got a few pieces of grit and fluff out of the joint with some tweezers... hopefully should be okay now

it was running a bit low on grease, so put some more in, gave it a good clean, goes in perfect every gear now
