Technical Gearbox compatibility

Hi I’m new to the FIAT world so thanks for having me
I have a 2016 Fiat ducato 2.3 needing a new gearbox and was wondering if anyone knew if the 20gp16 box is the same as the 20gp18 box
I have the 20gp16 in my van currently and can get a 20gp18 but don’t want to remove it and find that the fitment it’s different

I've just changed the gearbox of my 2012 Multijet 130 (though I'm afraid I don't know what part number was removed or installed) but I can see in 6th gear that the gear ratios are slightly different, and looking online suggests that this is the reason that my cruise control no longer works. So I've ordered an OBD cable, and will buy Multiecuscan to try confirm that diagnosis (or find a new one if not).
