Technical gear selector removal

Hi all
I stuck at the Gear selector removal bit, Im doing a clutch, Been describing it in thread "buying bits".
I have managed to get the e learn software to work have been following that and other threads on this matter.
I managed to get the 10m bolt off and unclip the large plastic bit, which was stuck into a metal bracket. but I cannot see how the end bits pop off.
After this I have to remove drive shafts and 6 bolts. Three of them stuck behind the turbo.

Managed to get the the gear selectors off, last night.
Has any one else done this job?
Is it easy to get the gears cables aligned, so that the gear selection works correctly? I will be putting everything in neutral to begin with when I reassemble this job.
