Gear selection problems

I have just had a new clutch kit fitted to my 1998 1.4 16V fiat brava sx and am finding it almost impossible to get into first and second gear. When the car is switched off there is no problem selecting these gears.
Can anyone help

Check for fluid leaks around the slave cly. New clutches take a while to bed in or its simply a **** replacement clutch kit.

Also check there is oil in there...
