Hey
My name lyndon ive been studying mechanics at my local college ( Sussex downs COlelge Eastbourne) for 3 years and got my national diploma. i then went onto a foundation degree since there were pretty much no jobs out there at time ( 2009) and improve chances of employment in future.
Well im about to finish my degreee with a merit or 2:2 and im being turned down for every job i apply for! apprenticeship or qualified technician job.
Ive got to point where i walk into garages saying ill work for free for a day a week or 2 ( as i have a part time job at sainsburys and i need to keep that to feed myself!!) . but im always turned away because they cant afford the "insurance on my head"
im 21 with a full driving license ( hopefully full bike in cup of weeks -fingers crossed) full national diploma and a foundation degree and still cant find a job in the industry i want to work in!
jut wondering if anyone has had a similar exsperience or any advice wud b grateful
