FULL CLOSURE!

Im thinking of buying a universal full closure system to fit to my bravo has anyone done this and if so what were the results were you pleased how hard or easy is it to fit and if anyones got any instructions they would be grately welcome. cheers all Danny.

I ahve a total enclosure alarm system, £225 fitted, locks doors, shuts windows, anti shock, inside sensors, boot bonnet door alert, panic alarm, battery back up, and immobiliser

Looks fantastic look better when my windows are tinted

I got the universal kit from Maplin as my HLX already has an alarm. Very pleased with it, can't wait to porperly show it off in summer. I can give you any help you need in fitting this one.

I bought the universal one from maplins for £25...

Personally i think its awsome...as i was always removing the keys, and then have to put them back in to close the windows...

If you get this one, it is alot easier to wire it into the door locks rather than your alarm...(as on my HGT i had about 25 alarm wires that are all black)

This way your windows will close if you simply lock your doors with your key, as well as when you use the alarm...

Its also handy when your driving, as i just push the door lock button down with my elbow, and the windows close...(Yes i am that lazy...lol)

Does the one from Maplins, without the alarm, once triggered lock the doors and raise the windows automatically, also like Daz has stated on his, could u from the inside lock the doors an the windows raise themselves? In case it werent all to obvious im not to sharp on this area!!

The maplins one doesnt lock the doors (its not remote)...

It works when it recieves a 12v signal, usually from the alarm system when you press the fob...

I have set mine up so it gets the 12v signal from the door locking motor...

So when i press the fob, and the door locks the windows close, when i lock the door with the key the windows close and when i press the button down the windows close...

ok well im going to be buying the maplins 1 tonight it sounds like its best for me to fit it the central locking where is this located and how do i go about doing it. cheers Daz mate.

I had the full closure system fitted when i did my
alarm system (spal).As my bravo already had electric
windows and central locking all that was needed where
activaters. (look like small boxes to me)

Its a small box about the size of a fag packet...

If you remove the glovebox there is a bracket with two relays in...there is an unused bolt hole, which a 10mm bolt fits nicely...

Just a quick question

It says on the link that it will close 2 windows or a sunroof.

Will it not close both window and sunroof together?

You will need a second unit to do that...

It can only control 2 items....

When you actually come to fit the unit I can give you whatever help you need as I have fitted the unit to my 99 HLX (windows only) a couple of months ago. The only trouble you might experience is if they changed wir colours from mk1 to mk2.
