Yeah, its a cracking wee camera! needs a longer sense though :( Ill post up a few pictures I have taken with it tomorrow sometime.

Once you understand aperture, shutter speed and ISO its pretty easy :D lol

Here's the problem with your camera, I have the D40 that has the same problem! You need to buy the lenses that have built in autofocus motors built in whereas the the higher up cameras such as the D90 don't need this feature in the lenses, hence the price difference of lenses! ie you can get the older cheaper lenses to work on the likes of the D90! pleas note you can use the cheaper lenses on the D40 and D5000 but you can only focus manually! But still a waaay better camera than the fuji(no offence to anyone here who owns one) and sigma hsm lenses are a good value for money lense!

Yeah, I realised about the lenses after I bought it lol
Its not that much of a hardship, for me anyway.

Pictures!

Got lense flare :(

Good pics like, and you can still get a 70-300hsm lense for 130 notes from amazon, I bought an old style lense with the manual autofocus then swapped it over for my mates hsm one coz he has a d200! Worth getting!

Ill have to look into that when I get back from holiday. need to save the pennies just now though :(
