General Fuel Regulator

Hi All

Recently I have been having a lot of problems with my 53 Ulysse 2.0JTD and it's lack of power. I have been led to believe that there is a primary fuel filter on the fuel regulator on this car.
Can anybody please tell me where the fuel regulator is located so I can get the filter cleaned?

Could be loads of reasons for the fault you describe,I would start with the particulate filter.
